The question of tradition vs. Economy always comes up especially when two people who married and then divorced decide to get married once again. One of the biggest questions is can you reuse engagement rings in a situation like this? Can you by all rights give the same ring you gave to the same woman years before at the start of a marriage that did not work? For some people, the answer is a resounding no, convinced that that particular ring is carrying some ancient curse that made their marriage fall apart. Others might be a little more pragmatic about it.
